With the 2026 Assam Assembly elections drawing closer, political momentum is steadily building across the state. These negotiations have created delays in announcing a final seat-sharing formula.

The BJP, meanwhile, continues to project confidence and has intensified grassroots mobilisation efforts. Party leaders have urged workers to strengthen booth-level presence and consolidate voter outreach ahead of the polls.
