In a major breakthrough against cross-border terrorism, Delhi Police announced the arrest of eight suspected operatives linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba during coordinated raids in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

The operation, led by the Special Cell, followed actionable intelligence regarding a suspected terror module attempting to establish a network in parts of southern and eastern India. Officials said the suspects were under surveillance for several weeks before authorities moved in to detain them.
