New Delhi: 2025 marks a defining year for Ira, a New Delhi–based singer whose voice, versatility, and artistic sincerity have positioned her among the prominent emerging singers of this year. Born and brought up in Delhi and nurtured in a musically rich environment, Ira’s journey is a powerful blend of passion, discipline, and creative courage. What started as a simple love for Bollywood and Disney music turned into commanding premium stages across India, making her story one of steady rise and authentic artistry.

Ira’s love for music began early, deeply influenced by her mother, a classically trained singer. Fascinated by vocal versatility, she spent her childhood imitating different voices and styles, unknowingly laying the foundation for a professional career. While pursuing her Master’s in Advertising, Ira had a life-changing realisation; music was no longer just a hobby, but her true calling. Since then, she has successfully balanced two creative worlds, building a parallel career as a Senior Copywriter while pursuing music professionally.

Ira is a jack of all trades and she considers that to be her biggest strength. Singing, writing, designing, and creating art define her everyday life and her routine is a reminder that creativity flows naturally for her, not on command but as a way of life.

As a musician, Ira has collaborated with several renowned brands and organizations, lending her voice to campaigns for Haier, MTR International, Hero Cycles, Cinepolis, Udaan, Cleartrip, Zupee, and WeTheYouth Organisation, among others. She has also worked as a session vocalist on original tracks and performed with multiple large-scale bands as their female vocalist, further establishing her credibility and range within the industry.

Her talent has not gone unnoticed. Ira’s music has been recognised and appreciated by some of the brightest names in the music industry, including The Yellow Diary, Subhadeep Das (Indian Idol S14), Khushboo Grewal, Ash King, Thomson Andrews, Shivansh Jindal (CEO, Merchant Records), Shefali Alvarez, Rusha & Blizza, and Akanksha Sethi. Such acknowledgment speaks volumes about her growing influence and artistic impact.

Her heart may belong in Delhi but her music has travelled across the country, with performances in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa, Chandigarh, Kanpur, Siliguri, West Bengal, Dehradun, and more. She is a regular performer at elite venues such as The Piano Man Jazz Club, The Oberoi, Hyatt Regency, and Roseate.

Looking ahead, Ira and her partner Harsh are building “Silver Lining”, a premium live band catering to luxury weddings, high-end events, and corporate showcases.
