Kajol Discusses Her Daughter Nysa’s Aspirations Beyond Bollywood

Bollywood actress Kajol recently opened up about her daughter Nysa Devgn’s life and future aspirations. In a rare and personal interview, Kajol revealed that Nysa is not currently pursuing a career in Bollywood and is instead focused on her education and self-discovery.
While Kajol and her husband, actor Ajay Devgn, are both established names in the Indian film industry, they have made it clear that they don’t want to force their children into a path they haven’t chosen for themselves. Nysa, who is currently studying abroad, has always been given the freedom to explore her interests and follow her passion, whatever that may be.
Kajol shared that Nysa is interested in pursuing a career in areas beyond acting. Her creativity and sense of style have always been apparent, but Kajol made it clear that Nysa is in no rush to enter Bollywood. The actress said, “Nysa is still figuring out what she wants to do. She’s taking her time, and I support that.”
Kajol emphasized how important it is for Nysa to feel fulfilled in whatever she chooses to do. She has encouraged her daughter to focus on her education and find a career that brings her joy, rather than feeling pressured by the family legacy. Kajol also addressed the common misconception that Nysa, as the daughter of two prominent actors, would automatically pursue acting. “Just because we are in the industry doesn’t mean she has to be too,” Kajol said.
For Kajol, being a parent means giving Nysa the space to grow into the person she is meant to be. While the door to Bollywood might always remain open, it seems Nysa is in no hurry to walk through it just yet.
